Latin Lover – Alison Nix (d’management group) sports Latin inspired fashions in a sweltering spread for the April issue of Marie Claire Italia. Lensed by Rennio Maifredi with styling by Sabrina di Gennaro, Alison hits the sunny outdoors in lacy black looks from labels such as Emilio Pucci, Dior, Alberta Ferretti and Giorgio Armani with an elegant forlornness.

A Celebration – Celebrating fifteen years of his label, Matthew Williamson presented a fall 2012 collection that is as nostalgic as it is current. A color palette of turquoise, plum, citrus orange and dark chartreuse provided a rich variety with a combination of Williamson’s signature print work on display. Tailored trousers, lightweight gowns and above-the-knee skirts dominated the runway. Glittering sequins decorated the occasional dress paired with metallic fabric. The show closed with a partially sheer gown worn by Maryna Linchuk that was adorned with large crystals.

The Layered Lady – For fall 2012, Carolina Herrera embraced a story of layering complete with a cool palette of navy, robin egg blue, ash, eggplant and black. The new season introduced lengthened silhouettes, cozy cowls and abstract prints. Touches of fur, tweed and sequins brought a certain amount of lavishness to the sensible silhouettes. For the finale look, Herrera delivered drama in the form of a coral ball gown worn by model Aymeline Valade.

The girls of d’management group dominated the Milan runways for the spring 2012 season including opening and closing shows. The return of Alison Nix to the runway culminated in the opening spot for Missoni. Break out star Othilia Simon also opened the Versus by Versace show, as well as Lindsey Wixson and Querelle Jansen for the Versace and Prada shows respectively.
