Captured by Stephen Ward and styled by Trevor Stones, Ruby Jean wears designer Jac Hunt’s sensuous silhouettes which were inspired by old Hollywood glamour. Bringing a modern edge, the shapes become more sleek and streamlined in a wintry palette of pewter, ash and midnight ink.
Summer Heat – Lara Stone fronts the spring 2012 campaign for Calvin Klein Collection, photographed by Mert & Marcus. Soaking up the summer heat, Lara joins male model Tyson Ballou as she wears spring’s lingerie-inspired designs.
Xiao Makes her Marc – Xiao Wen fronts the Marc Jacobs spring 2012 campaign, making her the first Chinese model to front the label. Captured by long time Jacobs collaborator, Juergen Teller, Xiao hits the graffiti covered streets in headscarves and ’20s inspired silhouettes.
Reflections on Lanvin – Embracing the runway show’s mystic elements, models Aymeline Valade, Marte Mei van Haaster and Othilia Simon are tapped for Lanvin’s spring 2012 campaign featuring snakes, mirrors and mystery. Photographed by Steven Meisel, the girls are joined by male models Aaron Vernon, Johannes Schulze and Angus Lowe at a dinner party setting. Spring is the season of danger with sharply tailored silhouettes, python prints and glittering accessories.
Mania Lover – Dree Hemingway fronts the latest campaign for Australian jewelry label, ManiaMania. In front of Stacey Mark’s lens, Dree goes on a spiritual journey with a forest ritual. Inspired by the psychedelic movement of the 60′s and 70′s, designers Melanie Kamsler and Tamila Purvis create pieces featuring zodiac, pagan, wicca and alchemy symbols. This season also introduces the label’s first handbag made of leather relief detail work and tusk closures in fossil crystal stones and heavy metals.
Echo of Spring – Zuzanna Bijoch nabs yet another campaign this season with Paul & Joe’s spring 2012 advertisements.
