Interview’s March issue features a piece on Proenza Schouler designers Lazaro Hernandez and Jack McCollough and their trend setting clothes. Interviewed by actress and friend, Chloe Sevigny, the designing duo open up about the competition between young designers, collection inspirations and the stress of pre-collections as McCollough reveals, “There’s definitely more stress. If anything, the biggest stress these days are these pre-collections. They eat up so much of our time. We don’t have a design director, so Lazaro and I, for the most part, do everything ourselves on a design level.”
The feature also includes model Kasia Struss wearing pieces from Proenza Schouler’s spring 2011 collection. Photographed by Craig McDean, Kasia represents the elegant yet contemporary aesthetic of the label. / Casting by Michelle Lee
