With spring 2011 campaigns surfacing this month, it only seems fitting to take a look back at some of the most notable campaigns from the 2010 season for our latest installment of Year in Review. From Alexander McQueen to Valentino, it was an interesting campaign season that gave us fantasy, glamour and full blown fashion!

Looking absolutely divine in some of the best swimsuits of the season, model Elena Baguci shows off her summer ready body for spring-summer issue of Modern Luxury’s. Photographed by Colin Angus and styled by David Widjaja in colorful prints and patterns, Elena relaxes poolside in Almighty Goddess.

Taking to the smoldering heat of Palm Springs, California, Australian based luxury label Oroton enlists the timeless beauty of Daria Werbowy for their spring-summer campaign. Lensed by David Mandelberg, Daria sports the brand’s chic accessories admist a poolside background of palm trees and blue skies. Look for Oroton’s spring-summer collection in stores and on the web starting late July.

Shooting some of his model muses, Karl Lagerfeld creates the cover shoot of Numéro Homme #19 with Baptiste Giabiconi surrounded by a pack of Chanel girls including Abbey Lee Kershaw, Freja Beha Erichsen and Hedi Mount. Perfect for this summer weekend, Michael Schwartz’s recent contribution to Exit Magazine’s spring-summer edition captures model Anastasija Kondratjeva as she languishes in a romantic bedroom setting. Styled by Elizabeth Sulcer in sexy lingerie from ERES, Marc Jacobs, Phi and others, Anstasija shines in the sun-filled spread.

In a nod to the 1970s, the latest story from Exit Magazine’s spring-summer issue takes on leopard prints, platform shoes and wide brim hats courtesy of fashion editor Kimberly Gordon. Starring Atlanta de Cadenet and lensed by Mark Cobrasnake, Atlanta exudes a sense of ultimate cool in the laid-back spread.

In a world of gold and decadence, Lydia Hearst truly shines with this recent spread from creative team BrakhaX2. Published in Genlux Magazine’s spring issue, Lydia goes from refined elegance to chaotic deviance with each passing scenario styled by Jessica Paster.

Not too long ago we saw a video preview of Exit’s collaboration with Adias and adiCup London for their spring-summer issue. Celebrating the 2010 World Cup, editor-in-chief Stephen Toner photographs a sexy group of models including Portia, Angelica, Astrid, Chloe and Paisha in jerseys repping every country from the USA to Germany styled by Louise Fitzpatrick.

In an explosion of kaleidoscopic prints and colors, photographer Donat brings a sense of hippy fantasy into the modern era with this recent contribution from Dress to Kill’s spring issue. Starring Gabi of Folio Montreal styled by Fritz, Head in The Clouds showcases the cotton candy hair and painted black eyes of hair and makeup artist Leslie-Ann Thomson.

Georgina Stojiljkovic’s doe-eyed beauty makes an appearance in the latest EXIT with see-through and snug black ensembles. Lensed by Nicholai Fischer and styled by Pippa Vosper, the Serbian stunner is a modern day pin-up in risque leather and mesh.

First there was Kirsty Hume in Dazed, then Christy on Vogue Italia, and now there’s Christina Kruse for EXIT Magazine‘s spring-summer edition. We would like to call it the return of 90s staples, but Christina certainly looks anything but 90s in rebellious pieces styled by Joanne Blades. Lensed by Dan Martensen, the leggy blonde wears a wardrobe of black and leather courtesy of Ann Demeulemeester, Rick Owens and others.

Storm’s Alisa M has a case of the blues for EXIT Magazine’s spring-summer edition. Donning a myriad of denim from the likes of Louis Vuitton, Calvin Klein Jeans and Levi’s styled by Louise Fitzpatrick, Alisa gets cheeky in front of Greta Ilieva’s lens with the eponymous spread.
