Daria Werbowy and Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin have a long history of collaborations ranging from advertising campaigns to Vogue Nippon and beyond. But when it comes to spring, Noces Blanches (White Wedding) from the April 2006 issue of Vogue Paris is exactly the type of of editorial we’re looking for when it comes to capturing the essence of the season. With impeccable styling by Emmanuelle Alt and a hint of 1960s go-girl glam, this editorial stands the test of time.

Our tribute to spring themed editorials only delves deeper into the past as we take a look at this gem from Numéro‘s May 2005 issue. Although not an obvious choice for spring, the mini dresses, white dove and overall atmosphere are tell-tell signs.

Nothing quite says spring like a mix match of prints, oversized hats and airy scarves as shown by this story from AnOther‘s spring 2008 issue. Photographed by Josh Olins and styled by Joanna Schlenzka, the colorful spread takes on a life of its own with a gang of girls featuring Edita Vilkeviciute, Egle Tvirbutaite, Giedre Dukauskaite, Mina Cvetkovic and Laura Blokhina.

We kick off our tribute to spring-themed editorials with a story originally published in the March 2007 issue of Vogue China. Captured by Sofia Sanchez and Mauro Mongiello, Romantic Dressing has all the perfect ingredients for a springtime spread. From model Julia Stegner‘s fragile countenance to the loose and breezy dresses styled by Mel Ottenberg, we could not ask for a more perfect example.
