Tim Walker for Vogue Italia

This is not something I would expect this from Tim Walker. ‘Fairy Time’ still has his signature lighting and countryside landscapes, but this is is more depressing than whimsical. However, I can’t deny that this very beautiful despite it’s morbid tone.

I think it's really good that he changed up his style, i.e. alternating from photographing that curious/peculiar tone. Perhaps if all the photos were done in black and white (which I would hate, but anyway) I'd think it was more depressing, but it seems more forlorn to me. That sounds like semantics, but I didn't think it was heavy enough to feel depressed. There's something to be said about the models facing down though, I just can't say it.
