I agree, as much as I like Tiiu and think she’s gorgeous, this reminds me one of those creepy short films I watched back in college to write about. The slo-mo is definitely more disturbing than mysterious… I hope that wasn’t the vibe they were going for.

I might’ve missed something but why is this “fashion”? Other than Tiiu being a fashion model I don’t see any link.

I’m simply going answer it this way: Nudity is a part of photography, which is an integral part of fashion. If the answer doesn’t satisfy, I apologize, but that really where all the nudity comes from. Models are a muse, as is clothing or a sunset, for a photographer. The video is a bit pretentious, and I can understand how someone might not be all that wowed by it, but whether you like the direction or not, it did make you feel something. And in that respect, it sort of did it’s job. Art isn’t supposed to be ‘good’ seeing as that is a subjective term, it’s just supposed to be seen.

I love this song, which was created specifically for “In the mood for love” by Wong Kar Wai. I think it’s tacky when
someone takes music made for another movie. The music is so iconic to “in the mood for love” that it destroys this

Music is very often re-appropriated. As a matter of fact, this song wasn’t made for ITMFL at all. It was originally made for Seijun Suzuki’s “Yumeji” (hence the title “Yumeji’s Theme”). Wong Kar Wai re-appropriated it.
