Inspired by the 20th century Mexican painter, Frida Kahlo, Karl Lagerfeld captures supermodel Claudia Schiffer in Bildschön (Picture Perfect). Photographed for the March issue of Vogue Germany, the artistic spread replicates the look of artwork while showcasing ensembles styled by Christiane Arp.

  1. I love it. It’s sitting very quietly on the line of being too overdone with the eyebrow (yes just the one) but overall I’m quite moved really. Damn it Karl, it’s so hard to hate you.

  3. Agreed, the brow is a bit too dark so it looks unnatural but overall, the play of colours dulled down with the low lighting looks lovely.

  5. I dont like it, the photos doesn't reflect frida at all just for the "eyebrow" and I love Claudia but I think mariacarla boscono would have been better in the editorial.

  7. Lagerfeld should stick to fashion. He never seems to make a successful photography set. This must be one of his worse, there is nothing in her eyes! And that's the most important thing the fashion photographer has to do: make her look alive
