
Abbey Lee Kershaw began 2010 with a bang, covering the January issue of Numéro and then appearing on the February cover of Vogue Russia. Besides multiple covers, the Australian stunner also appeared in campaigns for Chanel, H&M, Alexander Wang and Karl Lagerfeld. She also appeared in the pages of Vogue Paris, Vogue Australia and POP. With pending campaigns for Donna Karan and Versace, Abbey Lee looks ready to take over the 2011 season.

2010 was not only the year of retro and nomad, but also the year of denim. Fashion went casual for 2010 with fashion editors pieces together wardrobes of blue jeans in the form of overalls, skirts, dresses and pants. From Vogue Germany to Elle Italia, it was a good year to be relaxed!

As a top model, Anja Rubik has appeared in a great number of campaigns, editorials and covers–and 2010 was no exception! The Polish beauty collaborated with Camilla Akrans multiple times this year and also appeared in the pages of Vogue Paris, Numéro and Vogue Korea to name a few notable publications. The spring and fall campaign seasons were also good for Anja with a two season run as the face of Fendi and Giuseppe Zanotti along with fall advertisements for H&M and Lanvin. Not showing any sign of slowing down soon, we have a feeling that 2011 will be yet another fruitful year for Anja Rubik.

It’s very rare when we get to see a good menswear inspired shoot focusing on the suit, but for 2010 fashion editors around the globe highlighted some of the year’s most intriguing and sharply tailored suit pieces. Whether monochromatic or patterned, two piece or three piece, this year was a time for the ladies to wear the pants. Besides the retro trend, another editorial trend stood out for 2010 and that was fashion editors’ love for nomadic fashion. Showcasing luxe furs. heavy knits and colorful accessories, magazines such as Vogue Germany, Flair and Harper’s Bazaar Russia all took us on a nomadic journey. Continuing with our Year in Review, we take a look at the beauty stories of 2010. From Vogue Paris to Elle Sweden, this year was certainly filled with bold and bright beauty.
