There is no doubt that the 1980s were a huge influence on fashion this year. During the fall 2009 season, we saw the ’80s staples of exaggerated silhouettes, neon bright colors and menswear inspired pieces from the likes of Dolce & Gabbana and Marc Jacobs. This translated into print in sometimes subtle and other times not so subtle ways.
