Twiggy, whose real name is Lesley Hornby, is just the latest in a string of beauty brands featuring women aged over 50 as brand ambassadors. Helen Mirren is also a L’Oreal face while Jessica Lange starred in a Marc Jacobs beauty campaign at 65.
