Photographer Steven Meisel returns to shoot Zara Studio’s spring-summer 2022 campaign. Nine leading models appear in a series of striking studio portraits, posed like painted figures. Jessica Stam, Lina Zhang, Amar Akway, Tess McMillan, Rianne van Rompaey, Marie Sophie Wilson, Georgia Palmer, Edie Campbell, and Quinn Mora are among the cast who pose with fruits and flowers in a painterly style.
Zara Studio Spring/Summer 2022 Campaign
This season’s collection, which Karl Templer styled, features bold ruffles, lace embroideries, and striped prints. Jewelry such as pendant necklaces and statement rings stand out among the selection of outfits. Dreamy dresses and skirts are worn with leather pieces to create a striking contrast. The Zara woman opts for studded boots and heels as her footwear of choice.

Fabien Baron is in charge of the creative direction for the shoot, which features sleek hair by Guido Palau and Pat McGrath on makeup. A short film features illustrations of the models set to classical music with an eerie elegance, especially with the addition of insects and cracked glass.
