In celebration of “The Next Era,” Dior has unveiled its fall-winter 2022 campaign, which was photographed by Brigitte Niedermair, a frequent collaborator with the house. Maryel Uchida, Steinberg, América González, and Philyne Mercedes are the stars of the season’s cast. The set is designed to look like an art gallery, and it was photographed against a backdrop of vibrant red.

Images are based on portraits that were painted anywhere between the sixteenth and nineteenth centuries. Maria Grazia Chiuri, the brand’s artistic director, is responsible for designing everything from magnificent gowns to tailored bar jackets and ethereal lace.
Through the lens of photographer Brigitte Niedermair, the models echo these iconic figures, embodying the experimental audacity of the collection amid a hushed decor subtly evoking that of a cabinet of curiosities. From clothing to accessories, the creations transform the Dior legacy by blending aesthetics and technology.
