The fourth year of the Artycapucines collaboration marks a creative update to the Louis Vuitton Capucines bag. The partnership challenges contemporary artists Amelie Bertrand, Park Seo-Bo, Daniel Buren, Ugo Rondinone, Peter Marino, and Kennedy Yanko to interpret the accessory as a blank canvas.
Louis Vuitton Artycapucines 2022 Campaign
Jill Kortleve, Mona Tougaard, and Rebecca Leigh Longendyke are the leading faces featured in the campaign that Steven Meisel photographed. Carine Roitfeld, who styles the advertisements, pairs the Artycapucines bags with sweaters and flared skirts. Pat McGrath is responsible for the dewy skin of the cast, and Syd Hayes is in charge of their hair.
Bertrand’s design shines brightly in the dark and is influenced by the evening hours of summer. In addition, Buren’s design incorporates circular accents that feature the signature black and white stripes that he is known for. The Capucines bag designed by Park Seo-Bo features a striped pattern in a textured red fabric. Check out Liya Kebede’s fall 2022 campaign for Capucines handbags.
