Tom Ford Fall 2014–Last season, Tom Ford dazzled with a collection of sparkle and shine, but for his fall-winter 2014 outing it was mostly about simple pieces and the result still managed to turn on the glam. The new season focused on streamlined shapes that echoed sixties mod with mid-length skirts and long-sleeved tops with no fuss. However a pair of sequin-adorned “Tom Ford” dresses emblazoned with 61 (the year of the designer’s birth) brought a sporty kick to the streamlined collection. Other maximalist leanings included a pink fur coat worn by Karen Elson or a leopard print dress paired with blue go-go boots.
