Met Gala 2015 to Focus on China, Include Jennifer Lawrence as Co-Host

Today, the Metropolitan Museum of Art announced that The Costume Institute’s spring 2015 exhibition will be “Chinese Whispers: Tales of the East in Art, Film, and Fashion”. Set to run from May 7th to August 16th, 2015, the exhibit will explore China’s role in creative industries ranging from fashion to films through the years. Silas Chou will serve as Honorary Chair will actresses Jennifer Lawrence and Gong Li as well as Marissa Meyer, Wendy Murdoch and Anna Wintour as co-chairs.
