Marking his first fashion show since 2011, former Dior designer John Galliano made his return to the spotlight with Martin Margiela Artisanal’s spring 2015 couture line. The collection’s notes describe it as a “powerful and fierce” mix of fabrics and materials. Galliano’s romantic silhouettes were out in full form while also embracing the avant-garde codes of the house. There were clear, PVC pockets, distressed denim shorts, animal prints, face jewelry and even more artisanal flairs. The show was attended by notable fashion names including Kate Moss, Anna Wintour and Christopher Bailey of Burberry.
