For her fall-winter 2015 collection, designer Carolina Herrera found herself inspired by water. Its fluid shape and movement was mimicked in the ladylike outing of clothing. Herrera’s house codes of refined elegance are transformed with painterly prints in not only oceanic blue but also burgundy, inky black and smoky grey. Besides the water theme, lacquered red pieces, opulent fur and sculpted shoulders pave the way for next fall. Top model Karlie Kloss opened and closed the show, wearing a dark berry lip and slicked back coif—a different look for the Vogue US cover star.
