Showtime’s ‘Penny Dreadful’ is gearing up for season 2, and by the looks of these character posters, the new season looks ‘wicked’. Eva Green as Vanessa Ives looks to the sky in a closeup shot and walks in trail of blood for another poster. The official summary of the second season which premieres on May 3, reads: “PENNY DREADFUL returns with ten episodes and will find Vanessa Ives (Eva Green) and Ethan Chandler (Josh Hartnett) forming a deeper bond as the group, including Sir Malcolm (Timothy Dalton), Dr. Frankenstein (Harry Treadaway), and Sembene (Danny Sapani), unite to banish the evil forces that threaten to destroy them.”
