The Fashion Issue of Flaunt takes on the topic of an artist and muse in fashion with a feature supermodel Stephanie Seymour wearing the great Azzedine Alaïa’s designs. Lensed by Gilles Bensimon, the shoot goes from inside the studio to outside the streets of Paris where Stephanie gives some supermodel cool to the form-fitting pieces.

    • i agree but i still think to RESTORE the breast is only half-way a sin
and she has always had gorgeous boobs

  1. I like some of the dresses…. but thats about the only positive comment I can make. The model looks terrible – body and face.

  4. Jaggy for your Regards this is Stéphanie Seymour a fashion Icon she is 40 something and had 4 kids!!! Even if the pictures look crap the lady looks amazing in Alaia !! she has the boobs, the butt and the legs!!

          • No, the question here isn't about beauty. Unfortunately, her success as a model does not translate in these photos. The clothes are unflattering. Why not dress her up in a way in which she can carry herself proudly like the icon she is, as opposed to force-fitting dresses which give the impression of an aging beauty chasing her youth? It's a disservice to Alaia, the clothing, her celebrity, and to respectable women.

          • Well said! No one said she's ugly but these clothes make her look tacky and desperate. There is such a thing as age appropriate dressing, believe it or not. Supermodels aren't an exception to this rule!

          • "Pfff, I know damn well who she is but even an icon has an expiration date."-Gary……..Oh so you were talking about her fashion here? I could have sworn you were saying that she was old, in general.

          • It's really not that hard to grasp, Rachel. It's her age IN COMBINATION WITH the fashion/clothes. It would've worked on a younger model (and if you find that ageism, then fine) and also on a model around her age BUT who looks younger (Christy or Claudia). But on dear Stephanie here it's rather misplaced. But whatever floats your boat. No need to get all excited.

          • i highly disagree. hers is the body that works with alaia well. she is his muse. and yes, ageism is very much the question here as several people are saying that she is old.

          • I highly disagree. Regardless of her age, the clothes in some of these photos do not fit her. While some of the shots are effective, others look incredibly uncomfortable – like she's wearing a sample a size or two too small. The awkwardness of the fit is what I think some of the here commentary picks up on, and is translating into a misconception that she is 'too old' to be wearing these clothes. In reality, her age and body are probably more closely representative of the customer who wears Alaïa. In the end, I'm not very impressed with this editorial. The styling and the photography is tired and uninspired. There is no energy in these photos, except for a few occasions where it is injected either by Stephanie or the garment.

  6. No matter how well preserved a woman's body, above a certain age there are outfits that can make even an ex-supermodel look trashy. And yes, those plastic fantastic boobs aren't helping much either.

  9. she should not model again, she had her moment(s). She looks sadly old in these picts and has none diversity in her face/looks 🙁

  12. I’ve also seen the pictures of Stephanie and her son Peter Brant in this site gossipinthecity. I cannot blame the public for having malicious thinking with such picture. Peter already releases a statement and I hope this will already end the issue.

  14. Why is it that whenever pictures of a beautiful woman are posted, people have to trash her.  Above average boobs? then KD says her boobs look fake.  Gary says she is past her “expiration date”. edufracked thinks she has an ugly face. Jaggy think her body and face are terrible.  Give me an F’in break.

Stephanie Seymore is one of the most beautiful women in the world.  She was one of the elite models of her day and considered by many to be one of top 5 models of the late 80’s.  She was also one of the early Victoria Secret models.  She is over 40 now and still looks amazing.  I’d much rather see her here than a skinny, 19 year old.  She is a real woman – a little crazy, but a real woman.

And XXO – 40 is “aging”?  Like I said, I would take her over a young 20 something any day.

So, why don’t you haters post some pictures of yourselves so we can criticize you?
