Taryn Davidson plays an updated version of the Catholic school girl for her most recent work in July’s Elle UK. Lensed by Matthias Vriens-McGrath and styled by Anne-Marie Curtis, Taryn gives a lesson in posing as she dons a mix of plaids, knits and a pair of scholarly glasses from the pre-fall season.

  1. Hahaha. I go to Catholic school and this spread is basically perfection in my eyes. Plus that is how I wore my hair for about a year, just now.

  3. I love this polished, good-girl trend. Really great antidote to all the 80s excess in the last few seasons.

  5. do not like. i feel they're more like mocking the great film rather than anything they're trying to portray. if you're gonna try to spinoff the title and fashion then at least capture the emotion of the movie. sadness, loneliness, mournful, etc. not some goofy pretentious posing.
