Fresh from the runway show staged in Hamburg’s The Elbphilharmonie concert hall, Chanel creative director Karl Lagerfeld showcases the brand’s pre-fall 2018 collection in a new way. The German designer, photographer and all-around Renaissance man captures model Anna Ewers in a series of black and white portraits. The new season spotlights ladylike silhouettes with luxe materials including feathers, tweed, tulle and silk crepe. 1960’s inspired shapes as well as nautical touches bring a unique look to pre-fall. Finishing touches include crystal bows, glittering brooches and sailor caps.
