Set to be a jam-packed issue, here is our first look at Vogue US September with an editorial shot by the one and only Steven Meisel. Gathering up a group of eclectic all-star models, the six page spread hones in on the nomadic aspects of the fall collections. Styled by Edward Enninful in ornate patterns, luxurious fur and loud accessories, models Liu Wen, Karlie Kloss, Joan Smalls, Magdalena Frackowiak, Kasia Struss and Jourdan Dunn come together for We Are the World.

These are great. Cant believe its US Vogue, aka "People" magazine.

Sorry for the negativity but I feel U.S Vogue lacks what the European version of vogue has DIFFERENT creative ideas/photo shoots. It seems all spreads are the same
Can't help but disagree with you. I've seen tons and tons of Vogue Russia and several others on accounts and have been greatly disapointed because of same style, same whatever. Vogue US isn't any better – Lara Stone suprised me, though, in her editorial for the September issue, I wasn't really disapointed in them like I am with her other shoots – , but the true masterminds of editorial are Vogue China, Korean, and the one in Japan. I have yet to be disapointed because their creativity is always apparent in the styles. Their big on floral and stuff so they really go out in all their shoots.
But I agree with you on the part that Vogue U.S. seems to always head in the same direction. The shoots seems almost like 'The Monster Inc' shoots the magazine did for the same issue. While I prefer other versions of Vogue, I still buy the American Vogue when I'm out because the shoots are great for inspiration of drawing out outfits and putting on your wall.

What a big mess. No direction

It's because the models do the same poses each time, and with the same backgrounds!! Love the models and the clothes but US Vogue doesnt let them go all out I think

I actually kind of love this? The last photo in particular is fantastic. Karlie Kloss is at her best when she looks like she's absolutely insane, I love it.

Aww Jourdan :') It's really messy and I think outside shots (or at least, fake backgrounds) would have been better.

Excuse ME! Steven Meisel is absolutely an amazing photographer. US Vogue is lucky to get Meisel once in a while. His editorials are usually the only best editorials. He works for Italian Vogue and I do believe he always brings a nice appeal to US Vogue.
