The February issue of Harper’s Bazaar Russia takes a major look at the spring 2011 collections with Irina Lazareanu, Annabelle and Xiao. Photographed by Luis Sanchis and styled by Natalia Alaverdian, the trio dons looks from labels such as Stella McCartney, Jil Sander and Jean Paul Gaultier in the studio shoot.
oh god this is ugly. the only shots that I don’t *hate* are the Versace and Celine.
I actually love this altogether and like almost every shot individually.
They made Dolce & Gabbana lingerie look unsexy. How’s that even possible?!
Xiao is amazing in everything. I love how the styling and posing goes so well together in all of these too: it’s badass and chic all at the same time.
why didn’t you guys give last names to wang xiao and annabelle tsaboukas?
what a clusterfuck… i hate when there is no sense of continuity in a shoot
I guess bananas are “in” (fourth picture from the top).
i kinda love the props (fruit with prada & stella mccartney; horses with hermes)
some shots are ugly and i dont think i need to name names…
i find the clothes themselves very inspiring, but the execution of the photo shoot is really quite poor.
i have no idea what they were going for…
the flow of the shoot is a little weird/concept is slightly impenetrable but i LOVE each individual photo. these are so much more interesting than the usual crap

Evidently it is more important to be racist than it is to be fashionable. Fashion world fails again.
