Skyline Couture – Karl Lagerfeld appeared to be inspired by air travel and stewardess uniforms for Chanel’s spring 2012 haute couture collection presented earlier today. The Grand Palais was transformed into the interior of an airplane with models walking down the aisles in elongated silhouettes and extended shoulder winged sleeves. Playing up the jetsetter theme, blue was a dominate hue for spring with sky blue, sapphire and navy all making an appearance. Amid the blue display, there is crystal beading, drop pocket dresses and pleated skirts.

no matter how hard I try, I just can never seem to really appreciate Lagerfeld’s designs…
I know what you mean. I liked this collection, but there are people who consider every Chanel show to be ‘amazing’, and I’m always just so-so about them.
It feels like i’ve been looking at the same Chanel show for the last 6 years. It would be so interesting to see someone else do Chanel….
I really fell the same, mabe yo shouldn’t lost the esence in the fashion Industry but I think that in the case of channel it’s the same every single season
chaNNel?!

I Agree …
If it was the hairstylists job to try and make the models look as ugly as possible I would say they succeeded!
DESFILE PERFEITO AMOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO A CHANEL.
I don’t get it.
This seems so 90s…
what’s up with the bride’s gown? With all these amazing textures and fabrics it makes the girl look ugly in it, is that what the bride wants?
Freja needed here
yes yes yes I agree!!!!
Thank you sooo much for tagging the photos with the model’s names!!!
I don’t like anything in this collection (which looks more like ready to wear than haute couture). Maybe if more attention was paid to the clothes than the grandiose sets/runways Karl seems to be doing it would be better.
please stop ruining Chanel, I’m crying
