At Alberta Ferretti’s spring-summer 2016 show, the designer looked to the desert for inspiration with a dreamy outing that included everything from bohemian luxe to Grecian draping and ladylike romance. With a color palette celebrating natural hues including burnt orange, yellow and brown; Ferretti opened the show with her own take on festival fashion including crop tops, lace-embellished shorts and peasant blouses. From there, billowing gowns in airy chiffon were presented with braided details and necklines decorated with gold loops. Evening wear was more structured with a 3D take on leaves worn by models Aya Johnes and Imaan Hammam.
