Balenciaga’s Sculpted SpringBalenciaga’s spring 2012 collection made news with multiple benches collapsing before the show even began leaving editors and other show-goers all standing. Nonetheless, the show went on with creative director Nicolas Ghesquière’s vision for the new season on full display, including his signature play on shapes. Bulky jackets and sculpted dress silhouettes dominated the runway as well as high-waisted shorts. A change from fall’s bold coils, strips and netting, the Balenciaga woman took on metallic panels and abstract prints for spring in a showing of pure modern clothing.

  2. Most of these clothes make the stick-thin models look large & broad-shouldered.  How would they make the average woman look?!

  3. I really don’t like the combination, if ever I’ll buy something like that I’m not pretty sure what occasion should I probably wear that outfit..
