As with the brand’s recent spring menswear show, Balmain creative director Olivier Rousteing looked to explorers for inspiration with the Paris fashion house’s resort 2016 collection. Modeled by Julia Van Os and Ysaunny Brito, the new line embraces neutrals, body-clinging silhouettes and sexy cut-outs. “Over the last five years, I’ve created a new, recognizable Balmain silhouette,” explains Rousteing in the official press release. “It is inspired by the secure and powerful women that I see around me and admire so much.”
