With the end of 2009 approaching, it seems only appropriate that Fashion Gone Rogue would spend the month of December covering the best of fashion photography from this year. With topics ranging from model duos to nature in fashion photography, there is a lot of ground to cover. And what better way to start than with a quick review of Vogue Nippon‘s covers? Photographed by Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin, each of the twelve images feature some of the industry’s most talked about models.
January – Daria Webowy
February – Freja Beha Erichsen
March – Anna Selezneva
April – Lara Stone
May – Eniko Mihalik
June – Natasha Poly
July – Kate Moss
August – Anja Rubik
September – Iris Strubegger
October – Raquel Zimmermann
November – Tao Okamoto
December – Sasha Pivovarova
i hate how vogue nippon always put the models’ faces behind the “vogue” letters.
I have to agree with you, but I the models do look amazing though!

i actually love it, the way the text interacts with the cover shot

I, too, love that the “VOGUE” letters are in front….you definitely notice it….and it’s quite playful. All great covers.

The models are so great and so are the covers. Love the ones with anna, freja and lara. The one with kate moss does nothing for me.
