Creative Director Tomas Maier called the fall 2011 collection from Bottega Veneta a mix of control and passion, and when looking at Veneta’s elegant protagonist there is definite pull between classic austerity and modern creativity. Experimenting with silhouettes, sharp lines and embellished fabrics of lace, wools and waxen leather came together for a story of flawless technique.

  1. This collection is lovely, but something about the hair/makeup/lighting makes all these models look at least 15 years older than they are.

  2. Fantastic show… Lighting is much better than it has been in some other shows, and the makeup/hair is fantastic and classy, while the pieces are gorgeous! I have not a single complaint, I loved it all!
