At Bottega Veneta’s fall-winter 2016 show, Tomas Maier presented an outing of tailored looks that was all womanly sophistication. It goes without saying that outerwear was a focal point of the season; from a long black coat modeled by Jamie Bochert as the opening look to a leopard print jacket cinched at the waist with a black sash. Elsewhere, Maier gave a metallic shimmer to tweeds and leather with check prints. For dresses and skirts, the Bottega Veneta woman embraces sheath dresses with lace overlays and patterns peaking underneath. The last four looks included belted cocktail numbers with pleated skirts and built-in bras for a touch of allure.
