Tomas Maier brings the Bottega Veneta woman into her signature ladylike and polished territory for the brand’s resort 2017 collection. Much of the collection focuses on outerwear with knee-length coats and short jackets in lacquered leather treatments. Elsewhere, furry stripes or tweed make a colorful statement. For dresses, the Bottega Veneta woman embraces long lengths, sometimes sleeveless with embroidered tops. Through it all, bags include large clutches or miniature styles in boxy silhouettes.
