In 1960, the brand shifted its focus to luxury women’s ready-to-wear clothing, accessories, and leather goods.

The brand saw significant growth under Céline Vipiana’s guidance, and she remained its creative director until 1997. Following her departure, several noteworthy designers took the helm, including Michael Kors, who held the position from 1997 to 2004. After Kors, other prominent designers like Phoebe Philo and Hedi Slimane stepped in to lead Celine.

Throughout its history, Celine has maintained a reputation for creating elegant, minimalist designs that exude sophistication. Under Slimane’s tenure, Celine’s influence continues to grow, and its legacy is evident in the way it seamlessly blends contemporary design with timeless elegance.
