Dior
Dior is a French label first founded in 1946 by Christian Dior. The designer is credited with creating the bar jacket and “The New Look”–a sculpted silhouette with an emphasis on the hips and waist. Fast forward to today, and Dior is one of fashion’s most celebrated brands. Dior has ready-to-wear, haute couture, accessories, jewelry, cosmetics and perfume lines. Famous ambassadors for the label include Charlize Theron, Jennifer Lawrence, Natalie Portman and Rihanna. Italian designer Maria Grazia Chuiri is the current creative director of Dior. She designed her first collection for the brand’s spring 2017 season.
