Jason Wu

Jason Wu is a Taiwanese-Canadian who launched his namesake label in 2006. Perhaps the tipping point of his career was in 2009 when First Lady Michelle Obama wore Wu’s designs at the Inaugural Ball. He became known for his elegant and ladylike aesthetic. In 2013, he was announced as the artistic director of BOSS. In 2016, The Woolmark Company named Wu a brand ambassador. As part of his role, he designed wool pieces for his fall 2016 and spring 2017 collections.
