Following up a decision to merge Burberry’s lines–Brit, Prorsum and London–into one unified umbrella, just called Burberry, the brand unveils its pre-fall 2016 collection. Chief executive officer Christopher Bailey took the spring collection’s military inspired theme and continued to evolve the look with structured coats as well as jackets and trousers embellished with metal buttons.
Besides the military theme, the Burberry woman also embraces 1970s style. High-waist pants with flared hemlines or ruffle decorated dresses make for retro inspired silhouettes. An autumnal color palette of forest green, calm creams and navies makes this an ideal collection for mixing and matching.
