Burberry Bold – No doubt, one of the most anticipated shows of London Fashion Week, the Burberry Prorsum spring 2012 collection was unveiled underneath the helm of creative chief officer Christopher Bailey with bold color and shape. The ensembles came in a myriad of hues ranging from deep mauve to asparagus green. With structured parkas, pleated dresses and the traditional trench, the Burberry girl once again reinvented herself for the new season with eclectic prints and flirty silhouettes.

I don’t love it, nothing stands out, and I dislike the silhouettes of those big coats! IT’S SUMMER!!

I liked most of them and the color combination is very well performed !
Other than the overuse of those belts (the coats would look better w/o them!) I think this is a very well-done, thoughtful collection and a change of pace for Burberry.

Too much hype
I’m not liking the big shoulders on some of the parkas, but many of the more streamlined pieces are lovely, with gorgeous detailing! The belts are a nice touch. It’s definitely a different Burberry!
