Photographed by Zoe Ghertner, Celine’s pre-fall 2016 campaign images have been released. Starring models Fredrikke Sofi Falbe Hansen and Ally Ertel, images of the girls posing in an outdoors, almost tropical setting are juxtaposed with product shots of the season’s handbags. As usual, the Celine woman is no frills with minimal makeup and slicked back coifs. Instead, the focus is on the clothing with oversized coats as well as wide-leg trousers.

Phoebe Philo’s view for Celine’s pre-fall 2016 focused on outerwear with a selection of long and roomy coats perfect for layering. Worn with baggy trousers and leather boots, the transitional season brings a 1970’s influence with hues of burgundy, burnt yellow and deep green. When the Celine woman is not wearing her overcoat, long tunics and skirts take its place. Look 3, a ruffle adorned midi-skirt with a flared hemline stands out as well as look 11, a long shirt dress with puffed up sleeves. Bags are slouchy and shapeless with a thin chains to be worn across the body.
