Marking seven years at Balmain, designer Olivier Rousteing looked to the French fashion house’s future for its fall-winter 2018 show. The French creative opened the runway presentation with a silver metallic number featuring a form-fitting top and baggy trousers. Metallics would be a recurring theme throughout the season ranging from shimmering sequins to reflective silvers. For more casual moments, Rousteing also offered distressed denim as well as embellished sweatshirts. The logo mania that has taken over fashion these past few years was also apparent. Balmain Paris branding covered pieces in bold black and white stripes. For color, a rainbow of blue, yellow, orange pink and green decorated body conscious looks with sleek draping.
