Since being appointed as Burberry’s creative director earlier this year, the fashion world has been waiting to see Riccardo Tisci’s first designs for the brand. And finally, during London Fashion Week, the Italian designer’s vision was unveiled for the spring-summer 2019 season. The runway show featured three different sections ranging from daytime to evening wear looks.

To start off the collection, Tisci paid homage to the iconic Burberry trench with understated and minimal styles. As the show progressed, minimal and sleek looks in a neutral color palette transformed into bold ruffles and animal prints. Leather skirts, slip dresses and boxy skirts brought a cool, street wear vibe to the season. Tisci closed out the collection with a selection of slinky and dark gowns.
