Coach’s Stuart Vever moves from the midwest to the California coast for inspiration with the brand’s fall-winter 2019 collection. Presented during New York Fashion Week, the runway show focuses on psychedelic prints, faux fur jackets and plaid checks. The Coach girl layers up in boxy outerwear paired with swingy dresses and slim-fit trousers. A moody color palette spotlights inky blues, neutral browns, purple plums and dark reds. Vevers collaborates with artist Kaffe Fassett for the bold, floral prints. The show’s cast includes Kaia Gerber, Dree Hemingway and Catherine McNeil. Cool yet fashion forward, Coach’s fall season hits all the right notes.
