Coach sets its fall-winter 2020 runway show at the 47th Street Warehouse during New York Fashion Week. Creative director Stuart Vevers celebrated a relaxed, downtown spirit for autumn. It’s all about layers for a new season with patchwork style shearling, colorful leather pieces and oversized blazers. A color palette focuses on primary hues as well as pastel shades of teal, lilac and powder pink. The work of the late Jean-Michel Basquiat decorates handbags and separates. “To see this collection come together has been truly exciting. Coach has done a great job in capturing the texture, detail and energy of Jean-Michel’s work,” says Lisane Basquiat, Jean-Michel’s sister.
