Taking inspiration from Christian Dior’s sister Catherine, artistic director Maria Grazia Chuiri channels the natural world for Dior’s spring-summer 2020 collection. The show’s decor features over 160 trees from various French regions paying homage to Catherine’s role as a gardener. As always, Chuiri delivers a relaxed femininity for spring. A neutral color palette includes tan browns, off-whites and a touch of blue. The Dior woman embraces a wardrobe of tailored jackets, breezy floor length dresses and printed rompers. For more casual outings there’s tie-dye denim and slouchy sweaters. Frayed hats, espadrille sandals and flat boots round out effortlessly chic looks.
