After experiencing controversy earlier this month, Gucci’s fall-winter 2019 collection took the spotlight for Milan Fashion Week. Creative director Alessandro Michele brought a hard layer to the new season with face masks ranging from spiked styles to full-face styles evoking horror movies. The Gucci woman wears oversized suiting, sequin embellished dresses and embroidered coats for fall. Besides masks, Michele accessorizes with costume jewelry, lace tights and logo decorated kneepads. As always, the color palette is varied with rainbow shades of green, red, purple and electric blue. For footwear, the Gucci woman wears knee-high boots, mixed material sneakers and open-toed sandals.
