Gucci trades in Milan Fashion Week for Paris’ Le Palace theater with its spring-summer 2019 runway show. Creative director Alessandro Michele showcases glittering ensembles full of fringe, sequins and lurex. Silhouettes range from tops with bold, mutton chop sleeves to slinky dresses.

Michele offers up his own version of showgirl looks complete with boxy cardigans, slouchy pantsuits and denim pieces. For prints, colorful strawberries, stripes and animal spots take the spotlight. The Gucci woman does not shy away from pop culture either. Michele includes imagery of Dolly Parton as well as Mickey Mouse handbags.
