Following up last season’s oversized shapes, Marc Jacobs doubled down on luxe layers for his fall-winter 2018 runway show. Presented during the last day of New York Fashion Week, the American designer looked to 1980’s silhouettes inspired by couturiers of the era. Jacobs offered up oversized coats, wide-leg pants and wide-brimmed hats which covered a number of models’ faces. Sculpted shoulders paired with high-waisted trousers created fashionable shapes. For those looking for more body conscious styles, Jacobs sent out form-fitting dresses and separates. For accessories, leather gloves and sleek fanny packs paired with tied sashes at the waist made bold statements.
