Marc Jacobs’ Spring 2020 Collection Is a Delight

Joanna Elizabeth / Published September 13, 2019

Marc Jacobs has a serious case of nostalgia for his spring-summer 2020 collection presented during the final day of New York Fashion Week. Delivering 1960’s and 1970’s era glamour, long dresses, tailored suiting and voluminous minis take the spotlight. Hats for spring include fedoras, cowgirl hats and floppy styles. A vibrant color palette celebrates shades of lemon yellow, Kelly green and scarlet red. For prints, Jacobs offers up floral designs as well as whimsical stripes. For evening wear, long gowns covered in sequins or pleating are worn.
