Sweaters morph into voluminous forms, cinched at the waist or curving outward in exaggerated peplums. Wide-leg trousers pool at the floor, creating a dramatic contrast against sharply belted tops.
Balloon-like skirts and puffed-out coats give the impression of movement even while standing still. Jacobs’ signature playful sensibility is clear in the exaggerated, almost surreal footwear. There are clunky platform boots and rounded pumps that further distort the proportions.
