Tom Ford brings his fall-winter 2020 collection to Los Angeles for a glamorous yet casual take on west coast style. In his show notes, the American designer describes inspiration stemming from a 1960’s French Vogue photo of a model holding a cigarette to another’s mouth. With shades of the 1970’s, Ford introduces sweatshirts paired with luxe skirts and coats. Trousers come in wide cuts with slouchy silhouettes while turtlenecks feature vibrant shades of purple, green and blue. Denim includes patchwork details and tie-dye prints channel psychedelic vibes. For evening wear, gowns are made from sheer lace with sexy cut-outs and bow accents.
