The Lam Effect – Derek Lam crafted an impeccable showing of jackets and dresses for his spring 2012 presentation shown during New York Fashion Week today. With his signature seventies flair, Lam delivered art-deco inspired prints, modified jumpsuits and menswear inspired button-up tees for a sophisticated yet sexy celebration of the feminine form. Beauty for the show was sun-kissed yet strong with rosy cheeks and slicked back ponytails.
I love the use of the different patterns, textures and colors.

Trash beauty to create beauty? Nope! Ugly is ugly. NYFW is simply proving the failure of design in fashion in America

I love the white trench-coat och the leather jackets!
The models look like aliens to me and I feel like the clothes are a jumbled mess. Not cohesive as a collection at all.

Can’t see anyone shelling out the $$$ for any of these looks …
